Towns come together for country NAIDOC Week

Yamatji land came alive with celebration this NAIDOC Week, with schools, community groups and entire towns coming together last week to recognise Indigenous prosperity and strength.Flags — featuring both the southern cross and the sun on a desert landscape — were raised across the region, while community members reflected on what it meant to “heal country” — this year’s official theme.
