Police announce missing prospector Stephen Churchill found safe and well

UPDATE: Missing prospector Stephen Churchill has been found safe and well after he was reported missing on Monday afternoon.

Police issued a public appeal for information on the whereabouts of the missing prospector on Monday before announching he was found “safe and well” on Tuesday morning.

This missing persons case comes after another prospector was found by emergency services last week, four days after getting lost in the Mid West outback.

Brian Brady, 72, miraculously survived after going for a walk during a prospecting trip near Mount Magnet on Saturday, May 27. He was rescued dehydrated on Saturday, May 27, 17km from where he was last seen.
