Meat and binoculars stolen in Mid West home burglary, say police

Police allege burglars stole $40 worth of meat and a $250 pair of binoculars during a break-in at a home in Horrocks. A 24-year-old Geraldton man is accused of driving the thieves to and from the scene. Jayson Paul Brendan Yarran pleaded not guilty in Geraldton Magistrate’s Court on May 7 to aggravated home burglary and stealing. The police prosecutor alleged Mr Yarran remained in the vehicle during the April 8 break-in but was a party to the offence. His bail was extended until his next appearance on August 3.
