Geraldton-based horse trainer Eddie McGuire — who sustained a broken neck in a track fall in Geraldton on February 15 — remains in a critical, but stable condition.

Jodi Reilly said her dad was paralysed from the neck down and required life support.

He has suffered no injuries to the brain.

“The ICU consultants and spinal team are working closely in providing the best, round the clock, care for Dad,” Ms Reilly wrote today on her Facebook page.

“Our family extend their thoughts to Dad’s past and present racing family and friends.

“Dad is not seeing visitors outside immediate family.

“From the bottom of our heart, our family wish to thank everyone for their continued support and wishes during the extremely distressing and difficult time.

“We ask that our privacy be respected.”
