Man hit by stolen car in Ellenbrook around the time of car park brawl

A man was taken to hospital last night after being hit by a stolen car in Ellenbrook around the time of a nearby brawl.

Midland Detectives are investigating two separate incidents that occurred in a carpark near a tavern on Main Street.

At 11.35pm, a large group of people were seen fighting in the car park.

Around the same time a red Toyota Corolla struck a pedestrian in the car park, before driving off without checking on the male victim.

He was taken to to Royal Perth Hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

The Corolla was reported stolen from an address on Ellen Street, Fremantle on February 22.

Detectives have not yet established links between these two incidents.

They want to speak with anyone who may have seen either incident, particularly anyone who may have seen the Corolla leaving the area.
