
A man has been charged with murder after a body was discovered with significant injuries in regional Victoria over the weekend.
Emergency services were called to a property on Langford St at Morwell, about 155km southeast of Melbourne, just before 4pm on Sunday.
The body of a 58-year-old man was found inside the property with significant injuries.
Police allege he died after being assaulted on Saturday.

Sign upDetectives arrested another Morwell man, 43, at Traralgon and charged him with murder.
“Police believe the parties involved were known to each other,” a spokesman said.
The 43-year-old is due to face the Latrobe Valley Magistrates Court later on Tuesday.
