Every parent knows that you grade on a curve when the brunch cafe is kid-friendly — but is that needed at this cute cafe?

Not everything gets better with age. The right Australian riesling, perhaps. The films of David Fincher, arguably. Nigella Lawson, indubitably. And this Dianella cafe, it seems.
This Mount Lawley brunch spot is not just an interesting venue — it’s a delightful one. Take your Mum.
This community green space, an oasis in a carpark, has been a location in need of a cafe since the last (rather good) one shut its doors. Now it has one.
The first time I visited Bliss Momos I was there to meet Wellard’s most famous local: WA Premier Roger Cook.
Blame Apple Cider Vinegar. Watching this series about fraudster Belle Gibson, who claimed she cured her cancer with healthy eating, is a searing indictment but also made me long for the leafy food on-screen.
It was the bright pink, pig-shaped ice-cubes that drew me in. The Instagram-able drinks could have been a disappointing stunt to lure in punters for a lacklustre meal. Instead, they’re just the cherry on top.
