ABOUT THE BOOK

From Europe, Africa, Asia, Arabia, the Americas and Antarctica, Stephen Scourfield came home.

And in the locked-down, masked-up, self-quarantined coronavirus epidemic, he proved that important, beautiful and poignant travel stories are right on our doorstep in Western Australia.

What does a travel writer write when they can’t travel? This book, “(still) The Best Job in the World”.

Stephen says: “The best job in the world is about finding and telling stories. It is about adding to our society, our common understanding, our community and our empathy.”
