Ready, steady, go . . . new gimbal makes smartphone photography easy

The key to it all is three powerful motors and DJI’s advanced algorithms, which combine to keep smartphones steady when shooting photos and videos. The Osmo Mobile 6 has an enhanced version of DJI’s ActiveTrack, which offers more stable tracking at longer distances and allows the front camera to track subjects that turn to the side or spin.

DJI’s Mimo app, and the recommended app LightCut, makes it really easy to control and create content. In Mimo’s camera view, tutorials pop up at the start of many of the features to get the user up and running and the ShotGuides feature automatically recognises the scenario and recommends a shot sequence, along with a tutorial on how to achieve it.
