Representing all things modern and stylish, Marina Bay is where you’ll find futuristic structures like the towering Marina Bay Sands building, a floating Apple store shaped like a sphere, plus the 101-hectare Gardens by the Bay. With over 2500 rooms and suites across three cascading hotel towers, Marina Bay Sands Hotel is a popular hotel that has the world’s largest rooftop infinity pool, 20 dining options and a world-class casino. It also has direct access to Singapore’s premier shopping mall and the ArtScience Museum, which features the permanent exhibition, Future World.

Little India

Once the locale of the original Tamil migrants, Little India is today one of Singapore’s most vibrant districts — it’s also an affordable place to stay when compared to other areas in Singapore. A popular option is Aqueen Heritage Hotel Little India, which is about a four-minute walk from the local Mass Rapid Transit (MRT) station.

Chinatown

Still close to the city’s heart, Chinatown offers a fascinating peek into Singapore’s rich Chinese culture and its history. Here, you can opt to stay at a boutique hotel housed within a heritage building at Heritage Collection on Chinatown. Or you can stay the night in a cosy capsule pod at the Capsule Pods Boutique Hostel, or Galaxy Pods @ Chinatown.

Kampong Glam

Kampong Glam has been an iconic Malay-Muslim precinct since the early 1800s. Its bustling alleyways are a treasure trove of art and culture, which are sure to excite every stripe of traveller. For places to stay, consider CUBE Boutique Capsule Hotel, The Sultan or the serviced suites at Pan Pacific along Beach Road.

Clarke Quay

Situated at the mouth of the Singapore River, Clarke Quay is a waterfront precinct with a heap of restaurants, wine bars, entertainment spots and retail shops nestled amidst rows of charming shophouses. If you’re after a place to stay consider Park Regis Singapore or Holiday Inn Express in Clarke Quay.

Sentosa Island

Sentosa is a family friendly beach island located just off the southern coast of Singapore’s main island. It is beloved by locals and tourists alike, thanks to its pristine beaches, fun food and beverage options and the island is home to multiple exciting attractions, including S.E.A Aquarium, Universal Studios and Adventure Cove Waterpark — just to name a few. There’s also a heap of hotels and resorts to pick from, if you’re keen to stay a little longer.
