Perth Glory big name signing Daniel Sturridge is finally set to make his return to the A-League with an appearance in Saturday’s clash with Western Sydney Wanderers at HBF Park.

He will likely be joined by fellow strikers Andy Keogh, who has announced his retirement, and Bruno Fornaroli who has not played since he injured an ankle playing for the Socceroos.

Sturridge has managed just 93 minutes across five A-League Men’s appearances with the ex-Liverpool and England striker not sighted since limping off against Macarthur FC on February 23 with a groin injury.

Keogh, Glory’s all-time A-League record scorer and appearance holder with 59 goals in 155 games, has not scored since notching four in a 5-1 drubbing of Western Sydney last May.

The game is Glory’s penultimate of the season and could be Keogh’s farewell. Fonaroli, Glory’s top scorer this season with seven goals, made his debut for Australia in last month’s World Cup qualifying loss to Japan.
