The Dockers’ 2026 Brownlow Medal function may not offer the same stage as the main event in Melbourne, but it hasn’t stopped the players and their partners from shining.

Fremantle remain in Perth for the year’s biggest awards night as they prepare to take on the Lions for the premiership on Saturday.

Instead of Crown Melbourne’s Palladium, the Dockers filed into Optus Stadium to celebrate the season that has been and the promise of the ultimate success to come.

Ruckman Luke Jackson, who is expected to poll well in the Brownlow count after a career-best season, was one of the first to arrive alongside partner Kelsey Browne.

Browne looked resplendent in a long, light blue gown paired with a pearl necklace.

The basketball sideline reporter also revealed what it was like watching Jackson and the Dockers claw back into the preliminary final and produce their biggest-ever final term comeback to book a place in the decider.

“I haven’t really experienced anything like that emotion-wise in a game,” she told Channel 7.

“It was quite scary for the first three quarters, but very impressive what they did in the fourth.

“And I’m really proud to watch Luke head into a grand final, but also the club and the boys, it’s a really special place to be.

“I love being around it, so it’s nice to watch them go on to the best that there is in the AFL.”

Lizzie Brayshaw also stunned in a sculptural silver ensemble with turquoise and silver earrings courtesy of Georgia Young Couture, while Andrew Brayshaw sported a velvet jacket.

But it was Julia Edwards, partner to Bailey Banfield, who won a WAFL premiership with Peel Thunder on Sunday, that ensured the night would be one they would never forget, using a video of the pair ahead of the night to reveal she is five months pregnant.

Murphy Reid and Charlize McRae were picture perfect, the latter looking stunning in deep aqua.

Amelie Anderson, Jye Amiss’s partner, wore a unique brown two-piece outfit.

Nikki Miller had a big responsibility, sporting a pink argyle diamond reportedly worth a lazy $900,000 as she arrived alongside Josh Treacy.

Fremantle head to Melbourne on Wednesday.
