There was no Josh Giddey but no worries for Oklahoma City in the NBA, the Thunder registering a comfortable 125-107 win over Milwaukee to boost their hopes of taking the No.1 seed in the Western Conference play-offs.

Australian Giddey was sidelined with a hip injury as teammate Shai Gilgeous-Alexander scored 23 points against an injury-ravaged Bucks missing All-Stars Giannis Antetokounmpo and Damian Lillard.

The result has set the scene for an intriguing final round for the west, with Oklahoma, Denver and Minnesota all with 56-25 records.
