It might be Melbourne who are celebrating a premiership win but it appears Western Bulldogs star Bailey Smith is the toast of the town.

The 20-year-old is already one of the most followed AFL players on social media, with 294,000 Instagram followers and counting, and it seems he’s just as popular on the streets of Perth.

His signature blonde mullet has popped up all over Instagram and TikTok over the last 48 hours, with West Aussies posting photos and videos of the popular young pup.

On Saturday night a TikTok user named Andrew (@fridaynightfooty) posted a video captioned: “Feelin like BT out ere.”

The Game AFL 2024

The punter did his best impersonation of Seven commentator Brian Taylor as he asked Smith, “How’d you think the final went?”

“Ahh, yeah it was great mate. Look, we lost by 80 points but it’s alright,” Smith said, playing along. “Next year.”

The man then said, “yeah but you’re pretty sexy though so what’ve you got to say about that?”.

Smith then leaned in and kissed the punter on the forehead before protesting that he was “better (looking) than me, bro”.

The video has been viewed more than 1.5 million times and amassed almost 250,000 likes since it was posted on Sunday.

Another TikTok posted yesterday, which has more than 1.2 million views, showed Smith posing for a photo with two girls.

The caption reads: “Every girl in Perth last night”.

In the clip, Smith is seen professing his innocence over a fake “nude photo” that circulated on social media in recent days.

“That’s the actual photo!’ he says, as he shows the girls an image on his phone.

Smith later shared the “real” photo to his Instagram (@Bazlenka) Story, making light of the situation by including an eggplant emoji.

On Sunday, the #7 draft pick was spotted alongside his Bulldogs teammates at the Ocean Beach Hotel in Cottesloe.

Melbourne weren’t far away, continuing their flag celebrations at The Cottesloe Beach Hotel last night.

Most still wearing their Demons jumpers and premiership medals, the players were joined by coach Simon Goodwin.

The Jock McHale medal around his neck, Goodwin jumped on the shoulders of skipper Max Gawn as the club celebrated their drought-breaking win.
