Luke Jackson knows how good it feels when an AFL team hits its premiership sweet spot and he's daring to dream what might be possible at Fremantle.
While stressing the season is not even at halfway, the star Dockers ruckman is rapt with how they are progressing.
Fremantle will go into Friday night's home game against St Kilda boasting a nine-game winning streak, which has equalled the club record.
Jackson, who played a crucial role in Melbourne's drought-breaking 2021 grand-final win, is one of three premiership players at Fremantle.
Shai Bolton won two flags at Richmond and fellow ruckman Mason Cox tasted the ultimate success at Collingwood.
"It is special. We're feeling very positive about where we are," Jackson told AAP.
"There's still a long way to go in the season, but I feel like we can achieve anything with this group.
"We've played enough footy together, we can start to get things going - especially that midfield group.
"It's great at the moment ... I feel like we're playing really good footy and everyone is having a lot of fun."
But for all their strong form, coach Justin Longmuir has pointed out they are not the AFL's best side.
After blowing Essendon away in the first half last Sunday at the MCG, the Dockers were outscored in the second half.
"It wasn't flat, but we have really (good) expectations on ourselves. We feel like we're a good group," Jackson said of their post-game meeting.
"We're striving for four quarters - something to fix up (against St Kilda)."
Last year's Rising Star winner Murphy Reid was best afield last Sunday, racking up a game-high seven inside 50s.
Having made his name across half-forward last season, Reid is spending more time now in the midfield.
"He's added so much, a super talent, 'Bruce'. We love him in the midfield," Jackson said of Reid, whose nickname comes from the former WA and Australian left-armed paceman.
"We know what he can do up forward, but he just adds so much ... I think he's going to be a one-in-a-generation player."
