WA Health Minister Roger Cook will join The West Live this morning to discuss a Bill for ‘safe-access zones’ around WA abortion clinics.

The proposed legislation would bar protesters from coming within 150 metres of clinics.

The Bill, however, faced stiff opposition from Liberal MP Cottesloe MP David Honey who claimed women getting abortions could benefit from “well-meaning” Christian protesters.

Mr Cook is also expected to weigh in on vaccine hope out of Pfizer and news that the elderly, pregnant women and children under 12 will miss out on the first doses until the Therapeutic Goods Administration is convinced it is safe for them.
