Terry Jennings: Police search Margaret River area for 73-year-old missing since Thursday

An extensive search is underway in the Margaret River region after an elderly man’s car and boat trailer were found to have been left in a carpark for several days.

Police are looking for Terry Jennings, 73, after a member of the public reported that his car and boat trailer had been in the Gnarabup boat ramp carpark since Thursday.

An air and sea search started on Monday morning.

Police have grave concerns for Mr Jennings welfare, saying the weather has been unfavourable for the past few days and the amount of time his car and trailer have been left in the carpark is concerning.

Police would like to speak to the man pictured, left, who was seen talking with Mr Jennings about 8.15am on Thursday.

It is believed he may have information that can assist the search.
