Driver loses licence after car ploughs into Hamilton Hill home and injures man inside
A 46-year-old man has lost his licence after his car ploughed into a Hamilton Hill home, injuring a man inside.
The crash happened at about 5.25pm as the man was driving his Holden Torana sedan along Forrest Road.
Police say the driver lost control of the car, drove through a fence and smashed through a wall of the Forrest Road home.
A man in his 40s, who was inside the home when the crash occurred, was lucky to escape serious injury. He was treated by St John Ambulance at the scene.
Police say the house suffered major structural damage.
The driver, a 46-year-old Hamilton Hill man, was issued an immediate disqualification notice and will appear in court at a later date on traffic offences.
