Vegan activist Tash Peterson calls out WA Premier Mark McGowan

Infamous vegan activist Tash Peterson has slammed West Australia Premier Mark McGowan months after she jetted off from her hometown of Perth for Melbourne.

Mr McGowan promoted the upcoming Perth Royal Show in a Facebook post on Tuesday and encouraged all West Australians to come along.

He also said additional biosecurity measures would be in place due to foot and mouth disease.

But Ms Patterson took exception to the Premier’s comments, saying he was telling people to “celebrate” animal abuse and murder.

“Why would you want to celebrate animal abuse and murder,” she wrote underneath his post.

“You’re putting in ‘safety measures’ to so-called protect the animals who are literally bred into existence to get stabbed in the throat so that humans can eat their flesh.

“The irony of this is astounding. There is nothing brilliant about animal agriculture.”

The 28-year-old also said “F**K THE ROYAL SHOW’ on her Instagram story.

Ms Peterson announced in June that she was “getting the f**k out of WA” on a one-way trip to Melbourne.

She was banned from all licensed venues across the state following what she said was a “non-violent protest”.

“My freedom of speech has been taken from me and we have a one-way ticket to Melbourne and I’m just going to protest over there,” she said back in June.

“Nothing can stop me from protesting … we’re going to disrupt and break unjust laws.”

The OnlyFans user has been involved in several controversial incidents since moving south, including stripping down in eye-catching protests throughout Melbourne.

She was also involved in a heated exchange with a horse-carriage driver who said he would “beat you to death with your camera”.

Ms Peterson recently claimed she was charged with three criminal offences for a protest in Perth in June, saying she was on the “wrong side of the law” but the “right side of history”.

“I have received a prosecution notice and summons to court for three criminal offences for one protest that I did in June,” she posted to Instagram on Tuesday.

“Two charges of trespass in Outback Jack’s and Old Shanghai in Northbridge and one charge of disorderly conduct as a result of raising awareness about the animal holocaust in the meat, dairy and egg industries.

“I currently have a criminal record of three convictions as a result of my activism and will be appealing two convictions of disorderly conduct in the Supreme Court this September.”
