Volunteers needed for Christmas appeal

Charity group Share the Dignity, which helps women and girls to access sanitary items and fight period poverty, has put the call out for volunteers to help collect, count and distribute items for its upcoming Christmas appeal.

“Our volunteers are called ‘Shereos and Heroes’ and they are the heart and soul of our organisation,” founder Rochelle Courtney said.

“Together, they are leaving a positive mark on the lives of women.”
