The Harvey Bulls women’s team snapped a two-game losing streak after outlasting neighbours Harvey-Brunswick-Leschenault 6.5 (41) to 1.0 (6) at a soggy Brunswick Oval on Saturday morning.

A series of heavy showers, coupled by a damp turf, ensured the ball spent the majority of the game on the deck, as both sides wrestled for supremacy.

Despite the Lions displaying excellent physical pressure across all four quarters, they had no answer for Bulls duo Megan Minton and Emma Faulkner, who cut loose periodically to break the general play stalemate.
