The Harvey Region has a brand new look— on the internet at least.

The Shire of Harvey has launched a snazzy new website for Destination Harvey Region Western Australia.

The Destination Harvey Region operates under the Harvey shire’s Sustainable Development team and is aiming to showcase the Harvey Region in the best light.

The objective of the site is to drive as much tourism to the region as possible, showcasing all of Harvey’s hits with images of green farmland fields, fine food from around the region, turquoise ocean views and of course, the big orange.

The site has several new features for visitors, from a specified events hub, comprehensive database on the history of the region and its attractions, and town specific pages linking you to multiple businesses around the region.

The site also hosts an interactive map, highlighting each town in the region, and environmental features such as Lake Preston or the Harvey Dam.

Now, even more businesses around the shire are eligible for free listings on the site too, with health and beauty providers, tour operators, photographers and florists given a voice on the site rather than just hospitality and tourism business in the past.

The shire partnered with ALYKA to develop the site and is looking for feedback.
