Donnybrook’s annual celebration of all things apples brought people to the town once again at the weekend for the 2026 Apple Festival.
On Saturday, cars were left banked up along South Western Highway as residents and visitors headed in to town for the festivities.
The free festival was held throughout the town’s main area, with Donnybrook’s Ayers Garden, Station Square and the Egan Park Oval packed with something new around every corner.
There was something for everyone at the festival from a wide range of market stalls and activities, to sampling local apples and pears.
Apple olympics and the apple pie competition were other apple-themed highlights of this year’s festival.
The festivities continued into the evening, with a night time concert and sideshow alley continuing until 7pm.
