Gang crime squad detectives have charged a man over two incidents in which local men were shot and seriously injured.

Parmelia man Dylan Edward Ghilardi, 31, allegedly shot a man known to him at a cemetery in Baldivis on August 16 last year.

The alleged victim went to a hospital and received surgery for the injury.

Mr Ghilardi allegedly was in the company of two other men who went a property on Stakehill Road on Monday.

The accused allegedly approached a 37-year-old man at the address and fired a shotgun, injuring him in the groin and leg area.

The alleged victim was taken to Royal Perth Hospital, where he is currently in a critical but stable condition.

Mr Ghilardi was arrested in the Dawesville area on January 20 and has been charged with two counts of possessing a firearm with circumstances of aggravation, aggravated grievous bodily harm, grievous bodily harm and no authority to drive.

He appeared in the Rockingham Magistrates Court on Friday and was remanded in custody to reappear on February 18.

The investigation is ongoing and detectives have appealed for information from the public to identify and locate any other people who were involved in the second incident.
