Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has been seen horse riding again after spending several months away from the activity following restrictions imposed by royal aides.
The 66-year-old was photographed riding across Sandringham Estate in Norfolk this week, marking his first appearance on horseback since relocating there earlier this year.
He was pictured kitted out with a riding helmet and boots and wearing a blue shirt as the horse trotted around the property’s gardens.
But sources said the disgraced former-prince’s return to horse riding is likely to be short lived as the horses sent from Windsor by the King are only on temporary loan.
“He’s bored rigid so even getting his horse for a few days is better than sitting around doing nothing”, the inside source said, as cited by The Sun.

“He was regularly riding when he lived in Windsor as it gave him a chance to get outside.”
Mr Mountbatten-Windsor had previously been discouraged from the sport after photographs of him on horseback during the fallout from the Jeffrey Epstein scandal were viewed unfavourably within palace circles.
A restriction then followed in February after he left Royal Lodge in Windsor. Since moving to Marsh Farm on Sandringham Estate, the former Duke of York has largely stayed out of the public eye.
Last month, however, he attended a public equestrian event where he watched his sister-in-law, the Duchess of Edinburgh, compete.
Mr Mountbatten-Windsor was arrested at Marsh Farm on February 19 - his 66th birthday - by Thames Valley Police on suspicion of misconduct in office during his time as trade envoy.
Police are investigating allegations he leaked government information to convicted sex offender and disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein.
Investigators expanded their probe into the former prince when allegations of sexual offences emerged in May.
Mr Mountbatten-Windsor has continued to deny any wrongdoing.
Early last month an alarming photograph surfaced of Mr Mountbatten-Windsor after he was snapped leaving his house with a prominent bruise on his face.
While the injury immediately drew attention, a source close to Andrew sought to downplay concerns, telling the Daily Mail the bruise was not a “cause for concern” and that there had been “no drama.”
The insider declined to provide further details, citing medical confidentiality.
