New mural on the block
Art students from Jurien Bay District High School showcased their talents in a recent collaboration with the Shire of Dandaragan.
With a toilet block as their blank canvas, students from Year 9 and 10 designed and painted a community art mural with the themes of remembrance and place.
The mural incorporates poppies and a beachside setting, honouring lives lost at war.
Art teacher Irene Powell said she jumped at the mural opportunity when approached by the Shire.
