Geraldton Buccaneers winning run continues in NBL1 West
The Geraldton Buccaneers remain the team to beat this NBL1 West season after another impressive win over the Goldfield Giants on Saturday night moved their record to 6-0.
The Buccs were slow out of the blocks for the second successive week in an even first quarter which finished 16-16.
This continued in the second, as the Giants took a two-point lead going into half-time.
However, the Buccs came out firing in the third quarter with their home fans at Activewest Stadium behind them.

They scored 26 points and held the Giants to just 14, opening up a 10-point lead which they would hold on to.
The Giants were unable to come back in the fourth, giving the Buccs a comfortable 85-75 victory — their sixth win in a row.
Cameron Coleman continued his impressive season with 24 points and seven rebounds for the Buccs whiled Mathiang Muo delivered 23 points and four boards.
US import Shaun Stewart had a more reserved night by his standards but still put up 17 points, 10 assists and four rebounds.
Captain Mat Wundenberg collected 10 rebounds, two assists, two steals and two blocked shots.
Heading into round six the Buccs remain the only undefeated team in the competition, with a percentage of 128.50.
They are a game clear on top of the NBL1 West ladder.
Their next game will provide them with another big test as they face the second-placed Rockingham Flames on Saturday, May 14 at Activewest Stadium.
