Hedland’s favourite carnival event will be back with a bang this year, bringing the thrills of the carnival to the Pilbara town.

Originally launched in 1968 as Port Hedland’s premier carnival event, the Spinifex Spree has grown to become a highlight of the town’s social calendar.

The Spinifex Spree Carnival will be held on July 22-23 at the Port Hedland Town Oval, providing fun-filled entertainment for the whole family to enjoy.

It will offer a variety of entertainment, including sideshow alley rides for all levels of thrill seekers to interactive family activities and live performances.

Mayor Peter Carter said it was great to see the return of the Spinifex Spree.
