One Nation leader Pauline Hanson has predicted Clive Palmer’s United Australia Party won’t win a single seat in Saturday’s election.

Speaking to Sky News from isolation, having recently caught Covid-19, Senator Hanson admitted she wasn’t feeling “100 per cent”.

Stressing the importance of minor parties, particularly in the upper house, Senator Hanson said it wasn’t easy being a “little guy”.

“Clive Palmer’s not going to go anywhere and he won’t even win a seat. He won’t win a Senate seat in Queensland and either will the Liberal Democrats,” she said.

Senator Hanson said it was important to have a cross bench in the Senate to work with the government and opposition parties to improve legislation.

“Usually the opposition will oppose good legislation or it needs just a bit of a tweak to it. Or they clash, they are totally on opposite sides,” she said.

Senator Hanson said her party had not been treated fairly throughout the election campaign compared to the level of publicity received by Clive Palmer.

“All the hoo-ha about Clive Palmer - who’s the one that’s got members in parliament?” she said.

Senator Hanson said Opposition Leader Anthony Albanese was a “nice guy” but he wasn’t ready to lead the country.
