Narrogin Senior High School farewells class of 2025 graduates and celebrates achievements with award ceremony

Dressed in caps and gowns, Narrogin’s up-and-coming graduates memorialised their schooling achievements, friendships and experiences last month before taking life’s next steps. Narrogin Senior High School farewelled 76 graduates at a ceremony in the school’s gymnasium on November 21. As results rolled in after a year of hard work, Kate Cousins stood as the cohort’s Dux when achieving an incredible ATAR, followed by Lauren Johnson with the runner-up highest score. Sienna Epworth was top ranking in VET alongside classmate Zarlie Perkins, who was recognised as VET Dux runner-up. Georgia Ellis was acknowledged twice for her outstanding effort at school, receiving the sportsperson award and was also named Valedictorian. The citizenship award was collected by Casey Dicker-Lee while Olivia Hann was named the Ampol all-rounder and Ethan Powell earned the principal’s award. Max Drayton received the ADF Future Innovators award, recognising his motivation and excellence in STEM, and was beside the Long Tan awardee Cadel Penny, who was commended for her leadership. Showcasing formidable effort, community spirit, and all-around excellence, Trinity Hill acquired the Hotham Trust award. To farewell the students, Principal Sandii Stankovic wished the graduates well as they embark on their next chapter. “Remember, success is not defined by titles, wealth, or recognition,” she said. “True success is measured by the relationships you nurture, the contributions you make, and the values you uphold. “So, class of 2025, as you embark on this new chapter, be bold in your dreams, resilient in your challenges, and compassionate in your actions. Let your lives be a testament to integrity and purpose. “And yes, carry with you the energy of your generation and let the time here remind you to embrace life with confidence, creativity, and joy. Open doors, explore new horizons, and never stop rewriting the future. “You’ve got this. The world is waiting for you and we all cannot wait to see how the class of 2025 will shine.”
