Very high to severe fire danger warning

A very high to severe fire danger warning has been issued today for the Mid West and Gascoyne.

A severe fire danger warning has been issued for the Gascoyne coast, including coastal parts of the Shires of Carnarvon and Shark Bay.

A very high fire danger warning has been issued for the City of Greater Geraldton, along with the shires of Chapman Valley, Northampton, Mingenew, Morawa, Carnarvon – inland, Cue, Meekatharra, Menzies – far western part, Mount Magnet, Murchison, Sandstone, Shark Bay – inland part, Upper Gascoyne, Wiluna – western edge and the south western tip, and Yalgoo.
