Exmouth and the Ningaloo coast seem the place to be right now, and it appears Qantas and the State Government realise that, with the release of almost 13,000 discounted airfares between Perth and Exmouth. The flights between Perth and Learmonth are now on sale in a bid to entice more visitors to the coastal location. One-way flights are starting from just $169 in the off-peak seasons of March 1 to 25 and October 29 to December 31, with daily services available. During the peak season between March 26 to October 30, prices will start at $179 one-way. This special offer excludes the week of the total solar eclipse from April 17-23, when Exmouth and other nearby communities will be inundated with an influx of visitors to witness the natural phenomenon. The tickets, supported by the McGowan Government through Tourism WA and delivered jointly with Qantas, are on sale now until allocations are exhausted. The Ningaloo Reef’s spectacular whale sharks were again showcased on the global stage through 3D billboards at London’s Piccadilly Circus and New York’s Times Square. Exmouth is also the reigning top small tourism town in Australia, after nabbing the national award in Canberra last year. Tourism Minister Roger Cook said the partnership with Qantas to offer discounted airfares was exciting and would enable even more visitors to experience the natural wonders of WA’s Coral Coast. “The autumn to summer months this year will be the perfect time to fly from Perth to Exmouth for a holiday. If you’re dreaming of visiting WA’s Coral Coast, now is the ideal time to book a discount affordable airfare from Perth to Exmouth with Qantas,” he said.
