Spike in thefts from caravan park
Carnarvon police are warning tourists to secure their belongings after a spike in caravan park thefts.
Police said there had been a significant increase in thefts in the past two weeks with thieves targeting unlocked cars and tents.
The thefts usually took place in the early hours of the morning, with stolen items including passports, bags and computers.
Carnarvon police tweeted a photo yesterday of two men wanted for questioning in relation to an alleged stealing incident from a caravan park on January 11.
