Scouts hand out honours

Several people received awards and special acknowledgements at the Geraldton Scouts 2019 Awards night recently.

Jack Myers, Jimmy Simpkin, Abbie Cook, Mikayla Cremin and Scotty Dewers each received a Val and Tom Vince Do Your Best Award, while Finn Smith was named the most improved scout for 2019.

Assistant district commissioner Trevor Wann was presented with a life membership and cub leader Karen Link earned the Silver Wattle for outstanding scout service

Tasman Nolan, former treasurer of the Geraldton Scout Group, was handed a special service award, while new members Ann Doney and Steve Duda were welcomed into the Midwest Fellowship.
