Police name fatal crash victim

Police have released the name of a woman killed in a single car crash in the Mid West on Saturday morning.

She was Sarah Hurt, 26, from Germany.

A 32-year-old man was seriously injured.

The pair were travelling in a green Ford Courier dual cab ute on Mullewa-Wubin Road, Perenjori, when the vehicle ran off the road.

Police said Ms Hurt was thrown from the vehicle and died at the scene.

The man was treated by ambulance staff and later flown to Royal Perth Hospital for further treatment.

Police want anyone who saw the green Ford Courier in the Geraldton, Mullewa or Morawa areas before the crash to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
