Police investigating serious crash north of Meekatharra
Police are investigating a car crash north of Meekatharra yesterday that left two men with serious leg injuries and a third man with chest injuries.
The crash happened about 75km north of Meekatharra on Ashburton Downs Road, near Great Northern Highway, when a white Ford Falcon collided with an oncoming Great Wall utility, about 11am.
The driver of the ute, a 20-year-old Meekatharra man, and a 57-year-old passenger, suffered leg injuries, while the driver of the Ford, a 47-year-old Meekatharra man, received chest injuries.
All three men were flown to Royal Perth Hospital.
Police are asking anyone who saw either car driving before the crash to call Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
