Pilot injured in light plane crash in Mid West
A pilot has been flown to hospital in Perth after a light aircraft crashed on a remote station in WA’s Mid West yesterday.
Details, including the location of the crash, are still sketchy.
A Royal Flying Doctor Service spokeswoman confirmed the pilot was flown to Jandakot late in the afternoon.
“RFDS crew from the Kalgoorlie base were tasked to retrieve and provide in-flight medical care to the sole occupant of the aircraft during transfer to Perth,” she said.
From there, the pilot — whose gender and age are unknown at this stage — was taken by ambulance to Royal Perth Hospital.
