Mitsubishi catches on fire after fatal crash south west of Moora

Police are appealing for information on a fatal crash in which a white Mitsubishi Pajero smashed into a tree and caught fire 35km south west of Moora late last week.

The Mitsubishi was travelling north on Dandaragan Road just after 4am on Friday when it crashed about 2km south of Rowes Road in Yathroo.

The vehicle caught fire and the driver, who is yet to be formally identified, died at the scene.

Major Crash are investigating the death and asking anyone who might have seen the Mitsubishi Pajero that morning to contact Crime Stoppers.

Dash-cam or mobile footage of the crash can be uploaded directly online.
