Mid West Sports Federation running forum to help boost local club management and grow grassroots sport

Local sports enthusiasts and club members are invited to attend the upcoming Mid West Sports Forum this Friday featuring guest speakers and tips. Following the success from their five-part workshop last year, the Mid West Sports Federation is back delivering the forum for the Mid West community. Targeted at sports administrators, board members and volunteers, the forum will help people learn about effective club management and getting a leg up in running local clubs. With local sports playing an important role in regional communities, having the skills to retain volunteers and gain grants will help grow clubs. The day is capped off with guest speakers, including leadership coach Ian Crawford and former National Soccer League coach Gareth Naven. The forum will be followed by a sundowner and networking event.
