Man found collapsed near Carnarvon dies

Police have revealed more details about a man who died after he was found collapsed near Carnarvon on Monday night.

He was 43 years old, from Perth.

A police spokeswoman said the man was found about 8.30pm on Robinson Street, Kingsford, about 5km north-east of Carnarvon.

Police and St John Ambulance staff attended the scene and administered first aid, before taking the man to Carnarvon Hospital, where he died a short time later.

The police spokeswoman said the death was not being treated as suspicious and police would prepare a report for the coroner.
