Man dies after car hits parked road train near Dongara

A man died in a car crash on Brand Highway near Dongara last night.

Police said he was travelling north in a Hyundai i20 hatchback about 10.15pm when the car hit a road train parked in a truck parking bay.

The accident happened at Mount Adams, south of Dongara, near Indian Ocean Drive.

Police said the man died at the scene as a result of his injuries and nobody else was injured.

The victim has not been formally identified.
