A Mid West resident is $2.2 million richer after his numbers came up in Saturday’s Lotto.

His division one ticket was bought from Wallace’s News & Drapery in Carnamah.

The man – who did not want to be named – said his dream to build a self-sufficient homestead was now a reality.

“This win is life changing,” he said.

“I’ve been working out of a tin shed throughout winter and summer, so now I’ll be working out of my own shed, with air conditioning.

“I’ll be celebrating with champagne alongside my wife and puppies on the back porch.”

The man said he’ll now be able to take his wife on honeymoon.
