Three members of a Leeman fishing family stand accused of exceeding catch limits and selling crayfish to an undercover fishing officer.

Ronald Francis Dennis, 29, and his parents Ronald George Dennis, 67, and Lorna Francis Weeks, 67, appeared in Geraldton Magistrate’s Court last month charged with offences of intentionally or recklessly contravening a provision of a management plan.

The son and mother have entered endorsed guilty pleas.

The father was not required to plead.

They are due in court again on January 25.

The claims date back to between 2018 and 2019.
