Birdlife Midwest-Geraldton celebrated its 10th anniversary with a birdwatching visit to two Chapman Valley properties recently. Foundation member Mike Lawrie recounted a little club history over a picnic afternoon tea. Despite the record turnout of 18 people, the group spotted fewer birds than usual, even though they were joined by the astute Freda Blakeway and Sally Vigilante, who had missed the last few meetings.
