Percentages were boosted in round two of the GNFL Women’s season as Railways and Northampton scored big wins.

On Saturday morning, the Rams defeated the Brigades 4.6 (30) to 0.1 (1) to get their first win of the 2022 season.

Asha Poletti, Georgia Brand, Mikenna Schultz, Katie Croston and Maddi Miller all impressed for the Rams.

Meanwhile on Sunday afternoon, Railways 6.3 (39) restricted Mullewa to 1.0 (6) in their 33-point victory at the Recreation Ground.

Gabi Cable, Chelsea Siebert, Jasmine Johansen, Kara Elliott and Jaimee Ahearn were the pick of the bunch for Railways.

In the most even game of the round, Chapman Valley 5.4 (34) downed Towns 2.2 (14) by 18 points at Mazzucchelli Oval.

Brooke Elward, Tayah Palmer, Georgia Keysers, Samantha Williamson and Daisy Whitehurst led the way for Chapman Valley.

Lucinda Rouse grabbed herself three goals in an impressive performance.

Chapman Valley now sit at the top of the ladder at the end of round two with a percentage of 258.62, closely followed by Railways in second.

Rovers had a bye for the round.
