Geraldton police arrest alleged street brawlers after causing damage to properties in Rangeway

Geraldton police are investigating a street brawl in Rangeway where several rocks were thrown at neighbouring properties, causing damage to windows in the area. On Sunday, Geraldton police allege a street brawl occurred on Blencowe Road. Acting officer-in-charge Sen. Sgt Andrew Ramsden alleged a 17-year-old boy threatened to fire an object at another person with a loaded ging. It’s alleged rocks were thrown through several windows along the street. Police made several arrests, charging a 17-year-old boy from Rangeway with going armed to cause fear and disorderly conduct. He will appear in Geraldton Children’s Court on June 27. A 33-year-old woman from Spalding was charged with criminal damage and will appear in Geraldton Magistrates Court on June 29. A 28-year-old Rangeway woman and a 21-year-old Carnarvon woman received infringements for disorderly conduct. Police are reviewing video footage taken from the scene and further charges are being considered.
