Locals headed down to Stow Gardens on Sunday afternoon for some warm sun and cool vibes as the Sunday by the Sea series kicked off for the year. Singer Born2Sing delivered some acoustic tunes with renditions of artists from Chris Isaak and Coldplay to Billie Eilish and Beyonce. Guests set down their blankets and enjoyed two hours of live music, with food vans providing grazing boards, ice-cream and snowcones, and there was plenty of activities for kids’ community group Fusion setting up games and obstacles. Pop group Good Strife will keep things going when they take over the reins for next week’s Sundays by the Sea, followed by singer-songwriter Josh Phillips the week after.. Food trucks open at 4.30pm, with music from 5-7pm. The Sundays by the Sea 2023 series runs until May.
