Geraldton home vibe rock the Freemasons Hotel

Lisa FavazzoMidwest Times
Homegrown tunes were spilling out the sides of a Geraldton pub on Friday night, as Ian Weggler Band, Good Strife and Tangent helped locals forget the work week. The Freemasons Hotel, Dancing Brolgas Music and 65Thirty Events planned the event, designing it to give budding Mid West musicians a chance to spread their wings and work up a crowd. Singer-songwriter duo Tangent started the night off with emotional music that referenced local iconography and universal experience. Then, Ian Weggler took over the show with his head-turning stage persona and unforgettably rock and roll hair. Good Strife ended the night with the high-energy musical sisters welcoming two band members into their limelight for the first time.
