Fire destroys home in Sandstone, in WA’s Mid West

A man in his 60s received minor burns after a home was destroyed by fire in Sandstone, in WA’s Mid West, this morning.

Police said the fire, at a property on Payne Street, was reported just after midnight.

They said the cause was accidental.

The man was taken to the Mount Magnet Nursing post where he was also treated for smoke inhalation.
