Exmouth’s Mim Strom starred with a career-high outing during her 50-game milestone

Exmouth’s Mim Strom stood tall in the ruck and had a career best game in her milestone match in Fremantle’s AFLW opener on the weekend. The 22-year-old celebrated her 50-game milestone with a win over Essendon, the Dockers getting up 10.4 (64) to 3.3 (21). Strom was one of the side’s best on ground, clocking in a career-high 48 hitouts and laying nine tackles while having an equal career best 17 touches. It gets the Dockers off to a hot start with a win away from home, and they now are back in WA with their clash against Adelaide on Sunday. The Crows are coming off a 14-point win over Port Adelaide, where former Northampton Ram Julia Teakle kicked a goal during her side’s loss.
